In case you have not heard about us, here's a little little bit more of us to share with you.
"NRA" stands for New Revolving Age as a Hiphop Dance club of Ngee Ann Polytechnic. It started out with only 8 students. 8 years down the road, we have a grown as a family with more than 100 members who are trained in different genres of dance. Through the years NRA has has opportunities to groove to the beats of Old School hip hop, New school hip hop, Jazz Funk, Popping, Locking and Lyrical Jazz. The club has been a platform for our dancers to perform and to train themselves to become versatile dancers.
a little bit more of our choreographers and dancers
Most of the choreographers have been dancing for 3-4 years since they joined NRA and some have been dancing since young. We are all thankful for being able to join NRA and be under the guidance of their beloved instructor, Ann Tan because she gave us challenges to push us to be what we are today and gave us the correct mindset that a dancer should have and hence, were able to explore more into dance. Under her wings, we have learn to dance and grow as a team. We dance to express what we feel, especially when words aren't spoken.
"There is someone bound to be way better than you are,
Keeping an open mind helps us to be able to learn more and pursue our dreams."
